large image in html5

using html5 template and when u rollover product image, it shows large view for that area. is there a way to add option for opening large size images in a popup window (like old template)?

Keep in mind Mobile applications...pop-ups are NOT responsive design. And Mobile it the largest segment of computer in the world now.

Thanks guys! so the question is, if v keep this option as is and add a button to open larges images in a separate window, ppl using laptop can view it big. 1> how much it costs? 2> can v program so that if ppl using it on mobile can't see that button?
