Although nowhere near finished heck I haven't reached the halfway mark yet.

60 products added with over 1000 to go.  :o

Here is my store using Abantecart.

kwalitykards.co.uk

There are still a few unfinished sections such as the Shipping Policy which I will get round to eventually.

Thankfully most of the sections are quick to learn.

I'm not happy with the large area of white between the footer and newsletter/ contact us and About Us although I expect it will change eventually.

Please let me know if you have any comments or suggestions regarding the store.

:)

Looks nice. You can reduce white space with some CSS edit. Use firefox with firebug to inspect CSS.

I only use Firefox.

:)

Thanks for the compliments.

I'm using FF also, I see maybe 1/2" of white space.

Do you see more?

Old Fossil

This is what I can see.

Once I add the Shipping Policy it may change  ???

I believe it's a browser resolution issue, here's what I'm seeing.

Actually fellas,  I think  the white space issue is more due to the width of your browser window and the way the responsive design handles the "wrap" on the blocks.  The CSS accounts for 4 blocks rather they are being used or not.  You can also have the same issue if you enlarge your screen (the keyboard equivalent of changing the resolution).

I know Gordon has a pretty wide screen - so there is usually little white space.  You can see what I am talking about by simply dragging the right or left edge of your browser window to a narrow size - as if to replicate a tablet size screen.   Note how the white space grows when the screen is a smaller width.

The result is the same regardless of the browser being used.  Since everyone these days works on many size screens,  with many resolutions etc  and like I do on my wide screen have side by side reduced windows I just ignore since I'm not competent enough to change the stylesheet to adjust.

Your products' pictures are too big in size...

Most images are over 2 Mb !

You need to recompress while keeping quality as high as possible.

Some of your clients will have slow (mobile) connections.

Hey Advisor,  welcome to the board.   Your advice on the pic sizes is good.   BUT it is not causing the the issue Old Fossil was asking about.

Thanks Lee.

I know the pic size is not the cause... I am just adding my findings ;)

It helps if the pages load faster... especially if you're trying to tackle some other problem and you do a load of page reloads.
