Hello, I just installed Abantecartv1.1.9 the first time via Softaculous, though the installation was successful. The frontend displayed well and the admin interface showed right but i cannot log in to the admin area. I tried severally but failed to login. I get the error message "No match for Username and/or Password." I removed the installation and tried a new install, yet the same problem. I have gone through this forum to see if I can get any clue what to do, I checked my files permissions and every is set right.

Please, how can I login to configure my store?

Do you use the same username and password that you used for installation? Make sure there are no spaces in the username and password.
Finally, you can try to reset the password with the link provided.

Yea, I used the same username and password because the installation was emailed to me and copied the same username and password from my email.

I have to remove the installations two times and re-installing with different username and password but in all, i get the same problem.
I tried the local installation which installed well and i was able to login and have a fill of the application.

However, I want to ask might there be issues if one is developing on local computer and then move the site online?

I got same problem too. After I inspected the database, I found the AbanteCart only saved the first max 20 characters of the username.

First thing you need to do if unable login into admin is clear browser cache and cookies
