How to limit product categories or complete store to registered users only

Hi,

I want to limit the access to certrain product categories or even a complete shop to registered users only.
How can this be done?

Users must currently register and  be approved first.

Hello.

In core you able to show prices only when a customer is logged in (Login Display Prices setting in the Admin-System-Settings-Checkout Tab). Other things are possible with code change only.
