Checkout loop

When trying to checkout, checkout step one goes back to account login when trying to continue checkout.   It doesn't take me to the payment page.

I use securetrading for merchant account.   I have installed the payment pages module (not stapi as was advised i only need payment pages and they have been known to conflict if both installed)

I have cleared my cache but that didn't fix it.

Any ideas?

What Payment and shipping methods are enabled?
What is your AbanteCart version?
Do you have any errors in the AbanteCart error log

Payment method - securetrading only as we don;t accept cheque
Shipping - flat rate only

This is the error message, i have no idea what it means!

securetrading? We have not this payment in core or in our marketplace.
You need to contact a person who develop this payment extension for You.

Did you get secure trading extension from this site http://www.securetrading.com/partners/shopping-carts/ ?
They have extension for AbanteCart v0.9.1 it is very old. The latest is 1.1.9
