and look at extension Whitelabel AbanteCart (Remove labels from footer)

Never mind, figured it out, and for those who are just looking for this answer (AbanteCart for dummies, that is. LOL):
follow the link in the post above
get the file. male sure to copy the key
install in extensions. make sure to activate
customize
