Store logo configuration

Hello guys... here i go again with another problem...

The original store logo position and size are smaller then what i want for my frontstore... I made an outline of what i want, but some changes are needed...

Here is a screenshot of my storefront...



I'd like to remove that stripe on the left and change the position of store logo (the red mark) to the center and lower (where my store logo is).

Hope it's nothing that hard to do xP... Thank you people

I think you need to modify template core files

You need to edit HTML is suggested file and CSS.
