Favicon problem

you did save it with an .ico  extension?

Yes of course. I first created a png file and then uploaded it in a favicon generator site and then uploaded to server.

llegrand:
well darn,  I will think about it,  no further ideas at the moment.

AlexGraphicD:
Found the problem! As I was browsing the product gallery in the backend, I noticed the abantecart favicon and I replaced it with the new one.

I thought that if I replace the files on the server I don't have to do the same thing on the backend gallery.

i'm unable to clear system cache.
