Embed a product Listing on external site

First time user, first time poster.....

So far, I have been using OpenCart 1.5, I upgraded to 2.0 and it is fairly buggy at the best of times. So I tried a few other carts in demo mode and I chose AbanteCart, purely because the admin interface is great to look at and work with. Then I noticed this embed code feature...

So I click the get embed icon on a product listing and it spits our the code, of which I copy and paste into my main website. Assuming it was that easy - it didn't work. I get a blank space. Having this sort of embedding feature is something that I have wanted to achieve on my main website for quiet some time. So, working this out would be pretty awesome.

I have searched the forum and found only 1 relevant post about embedding, and that was not helpful. Does anyone out there know why this feature is not working for me?

just guessing here -  but it generates html code.  When you use it on your main website -  in the editor you use there
be sure you are in SOURCE to paste the html.

it's really easy to forget to check that detail :)

My testing of the embed seems to have worked flawlessly every time.

If this is the solution - please post back.

In some rare cases embed code may conflict with some scripts on your page but we already fixed this issue it will be available in new release 1.2.4

Can you share your page with embed we will try to catch problem  ;)

I also tried to embed in our LMS (moodle) but when click add cart button, the result is different with quantity that i placed.

Seek for advise. Thank you.
