Abantecart emails not reaching me

The emails from my site (abantecart site) are not going thro, and each time i register a test customer n make a dummy purchase i get error - unable to send email, check logs.
nothing shown up in the log, this time this error showed up

Did you configure email settings correctly?

The email ids are working well as such , getting even forwarded emails and able to send to the email I'd sales@my****site.com

Tried configuring with both options ... didn't receive any email from my abante site.

not happening .... if outgoing emails were blocked i wouldnt be getting emails as a forwarded email from salea@ ..... to xp.gmail.com

tried secure n non secure smtp settings n port changes, also tried the gmail settings with gmail email.

Check with your hosting. They may block or filter your emails.

I think my admin rebooted the server and now its working. Thank you
