Custom Integration Payment Gateway

I need to set up or design 'n plugin for PayFast Payment Gateway for South African Rand - I have been given some documentation with codes for various pages -but I am not clued up with designing plugins - can anyone assist me if this - can provide link to the documents  -  ....or send some pages with info -codes....   I am doing a few shop sites for friends and we would love to use AbanteCart - cant purchase plug ins as we dont have credit cards or US dollars.... Any assistance much appreciated!

Seems there are lots of ways to overcome your no credit card or US dollars  -  South Africa offers many ways to do prepaid MasterCards and Visa -

Just be aware that you will need to have enough prepaid funds in the currency a site accepts in order for the transaction to be approved.
