All images on my vanilla install are broken (site is using https)

So my site https:// 3dshapeengineering .com has a vanilla install of AbanteCart and no images work except for off site images. When I go to get the image url it specifies an https url, and when I change it to an http url it just redirects to the homepage. I had a similar issue with wordpress (which was installed previously in the same root directory and since removed) but It was remedied by a plugin so I know my SSL cert is setup correctly.

What settings in abantecart do I need to change for images to work with https?

Also double check that your server requirements are set like this:

And check Permissions  - for your server type as shown on this doc.  At the bottom step 5 says and set 444 permission for the system/config.php and /index.php file
