Website loads very slow

I got an abantecart website and it loads very slow.
I have no idea why, and how could i fix it, so I need help!

I have v.1.2.6.

1. Check if you have cache enabled on your AbanteCart.
2. Make sure .htaccess is enabled correctly with all optimizations
3. Check image sizes. See if they need to be optimized
4. Check your database for any issues. (Run check for database)
There might be many other things on your hosting side that can cause your site to load slow.

Finally, i would suggest to upgrade to 1.2.7 as it has significant improvement in AbanteCart speed.
