What is the 'X' for next to each item in the cart?

Hi All,

When you add an item to your cart, you can see the cart total just under the logo. If I click on that total I can see the items in my cart and a 'X' next to each item (Please see the attached image). What is this X for? I thought it was to delete an item, but it has no function at the moment.

Hello.

X is multiplier sign. if you add 2 same products it will looks like Product Name X 2
