New payment option
« on: November 12, 2012, 05:27:13 PM »
I am working on a project at the moment with your software and a payment option I would like to see is one for internal orders by this I mean typing an order number, cost centre instead of credit card numbers.

Thanks

I think default_cheque or default_cod   (Cash On Delivery) will work for you.

What do you need to edit?

To use these payments you need to enable them in Extensions section.

How would zero payments be handled.  In other words, there are free pdf downloads and I do not know how in Abantecart to bypass a checkout for downloading these, and it appears paypal does not allow a zero cost transaction, so how would this be handled?

If transaction is 0, why do you need to have payment system envolved? Do you have all your products with price of 0?

I agree you should not need a payment option, but NO, not all products are free; only a few...the rest are for a price.  I do not see an option for downloading PDF's only without it being tied to a product which is tied to checkout.

I see your point. We will work on some modifications. I think the check out process is still will be present, it just will be skipping payment if total amount in the cart is 0.
