Hi

I often have this issue too.

But what I have found is that if I go to http://mywebsite.com the icons do not appear. But as I have set my website url to www.mywebsite.com in Abantecart, my icons work fine when I navigate to www.mywebsite.com.

Is there a fix for this? Or shall I try and redirect all http://mywebsite.com traffic to www.mywebsite.com ?

Thanks

You need to set this up on your server. You can handle this with redirect on .htaccess.

Site needs to be accessed with one domain/sub-domain per store. mywebsite.com and www.mywebsite.com are 2 different sub-domains.

I have the same problem and it appears to be with awesome fonts. The search icon which is a "magnifying glass" didn't appear for the longest time in the search box. Then, I set up a Linux box and went to my site and the search icon showed "24".  Cleared caches on both server and browser and then it worked.

Awesome fonts are cool and quick. But maybe real icons, whether .ico(which I personally don't like) or ,png would be more suitable. Folks could change them easily to their hearts content.
