Regarding remove some Create account field

Hi
I am new here and want to Remove some customer registration field because many user not like to fill so many detail white vreating account.

Like First Name, Last name

instant of both field i want to make one field like
Cust Name
and want to remove " fax " "company"and  want to keep only one address field.please help i am losing customer.
