Orders with PayPal payment not recorded

Hi,
I can't wait to try my new store with real money, with guest chekout, the payment did go through, but no order was recorded in the "order" list, no notification was received through e-mail. Then I tried in test mode, guest checkout, no any problem !

Again I switched to real mode, checkout as registered customer, the problem remain the same, I can only receive money, can not receive the order!  Login to "my account" as customer, check order history, the result is "You have not made any previous orders!"  But I paid real money ! :'(

Can you help?  Is there anything not being setup correctly?  I noticed a similar question in another post, it says fixed in new version. But my version is newer.

This type of issue is the bane of off-site "hosted page" type payment platforms like Paypal - it is incredibly common.

Begin with checking your paypal account setup.  Is IPN configured??

If not, you're unlikely to get notifications.   At minimum, set IPN to be enabled, with no further setup.  Generally a good Paypal module will send the appropriate return URL's in the information packet - but can't force IPN or PDT to be enabled on its own.

Yes, it works ! 

It was turned off due to problems with another store. The old notification URL is still there, no need to change anything, simply turn IPN on.

Hi,

Could you please let me know where could I configure the IPN as I am having the same issue of not showing the order in the order history in Abantecart admin?
