Gift option in cart

Any ideas for how to offer a gift option on the cart or checkout page?
If the customer selects "This is a gift", the invoice should print without any prices.
I have already added it to every single product but it is not given me the functionality I really need.
I need to offer this option on the cart or checkout page and pass that info off to the invoice.

You can add an Order Attribute https://marketplace.abantecart.com/order_attributes
or add the option with name "This is a gift" to the product https://abantecart.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AD/pages/9568257/Manage+Products+Options
