Which files to edit....
« on: January 27, 2013, 01:10:21 PM »
Hi,
This is for the default template.
I want to edit some text on the Checkout, Payment Information page. I have it set for cash only payments and the text says "Cash on Delivery" and I want to edit it to say "Cash on Collection / Delivery".

I found 2 xml files which contained the original text and tried modifying it but nothing happened.

Can any one give me a quick heads up as to which files need altering.

Cheers
Nick

hello.
You need to go to menu system->localisation->language definitions and to change there.

Abolabo meant to say, you need to use admin interface to edit text. This is a unique feature in AbanteCart.

You can quickly locate  text using quick search at the top right corner of the admin and click to edit.

Hi,
Sorry about that I was expecting to have to alter the original files or something I should have known it was going to be quite straight forward.

I am only new to using Abantecart and so far have found it very straight forward and will have my fist site up and running quite soon.

Cheers
