Question on Search
« on: May 08, 2018, 09:01:08 AM »
Is there a way to search by item number instead of by the name of the product?

Thanks Jim

Hi. You can search by products model or include product descriptions

First thank you for the very quick reply!

When you say to search by the product model number that could also be the item number for the product is that correct?

Right now when I search for a product using the Item # of the product it does not return anything.
Do I first have to be in the right category or can I just enter the number and search the entire sight?

Thanks Jim

The item number is a internal id used only for the database. If you want to search by model you need to fill out the model field when you create/edit product
