The Power of e-Commerce

Staples, America's largest office supply chain, announced today they will close 500 stores, because more then 50% of their business is coming from the Internet.

Staples is the second largest online retailer behind Amazon. I did a previous thread about their rush to mobile and now we know why.

I think shopping online has more to upside and this is a great example.

Online, it is only a matter of the customer searching for the product in a search engine.
