Help required on upgrade

Good Day people.
I have no clue of what to do regarding updating a site manually, I have basic knowhow.
Could someone please tell me in "baby terms" what I do.
1/ I have downloaded the zip file and unzipped it
2/ do I go to the SQL in my control panel or the files wizard/management to insert them
3/ When i'm in the correct place what folder do I open
4/ do i then just copy and paste them into the folder
5/ do I need to change text as I have read in a previous post for an older upgrade
and finally do I do the same things all over again to get me from the 1.1 that I am running to the 1.1.4 that I need

To upgrade cart from v1.1.0 to 1.1.1 download this package, unpack and replace all files of your abantecart by files from "code" subfolder.

To upgrade from 1.1.1 up to 1.1.2 go to abantecart admin section, menu extensions->install extension. Type in field  "abantecart_upgrade_112" and press "go".
The same with upgrade to 1.1.3 and 1.1.4... keys for upgrade abantecart_upgrade_113 and abantecart_upgrade_114.

Do not forget do full backup before start.

I need to know were to find the code subfolder that the upgrade from 1.1 to 1.1.1 is, do i find it in the SQL or file manager, and then were to, there are so many folders
Please tell me step by step where to find the folders so I can upgrade my site, and stop pestering everyone with these questions

it's archive. if you use windows as OS download 7zip for extracting

sorry for being such a pain, I have the download, I have unzipped it, all I need to know is were does it go how do I put it into my web files to upgrade the version, do I use the SQL or  files manager

 just files without any sql. Just replace.
