Tracking free downloads

Hi,

I have made several e-files available as free downloads on my shopping cart. Is there a way to track how many times each of these free files is downloaded?

Hello. If you connect "Allow download" on some order status then downloads trackable in the Admin > Order > Order Edit > Files

Thanks Basara. That option works when the customer places an order.

The free downloads I make available can be downloaded without placing an order. I set the downloads to be activated "before order" under "edit product file." Customer can download file without placing an order. I wonder, can these downloads be tracked?
