Where is file saved and can I limit the types of files?

If I create the field for uploading a file (an image) where is that file saved for me to get later?

Also, can I limit the types of files? Suppose I only want to upload images?

Hello.

The file types limit and size limits inside the option with File type. The files will be saved to /admin/system/uploads/ directory
