I searched too much about instruction and video tutorial for explaining the procedure of using the developer tool to clone the website before new version be available,
 Can you help in this issue please ??

Am looking for more practise examples with usage of this tool, is there any (tutorial description videos) to teach us how to do the procedures??

If you have Softaculous on your domain host -  then look into using it to clone,  test,  etc.

Am talking about the files which we edited their codes in (public_html files), when the new version become live they will not be changed ???

Ah,  that was unclear -  it totally depends on what they change in the new version vs what you have changed  but after many years with the cart the chances are good that you will need to redo at least some of your core code changes.
That is why it is recommended to make extensions rather than core code hacks.

There are lots of comparative tools like Beyond compare that assist in side by side comparison.

Philosophy 101 -  the only thing sure in computers is there is constant change!
