gift wrapping-global attributes option

i tried the default gift wrapping option i had in the global attributes..
i added images to it but whenever i use it as an option in a product
it seems whenever people enter in the frontend they see the gift wrapping image first until they choose any product options

When customer goes do product page it will see images of product (images from tab Media of product edit page on admin side).
If you added product option you can assign image set for each value of this option. These images will be shown on customer's choice event.

perhaps this image will help you get to the correct place. ,  I find a lot of folks miss that little arrow to expand the fields for options.

yes that's what it supposed to be, but it shows the gift option image first before the product image

are you sure you uploaded the image INTO the Option Image  and not the product images?
On the latest versions,  when customer selects and option  the associated image will appear.
If they go to another option (like size or color)  the other images for the product appear.
