Since 3 days the website cannot send emails through gmail SMTP protocol. and always getting this Error: Network is unreachable (101)

What's happening with this issue and how to fix it?

Yes, it is. Many hostings include one or more free email accounts in the package. Ask hosting for the SMTP details

What to do to make mail protocol to work and to start sending emails?? is there any files should be edited and maybe placed with some required information please??

If you host can not send via Mail protocol you have only one option is switch to SMTP

i searched on their website and as i understood actually they are not allowing now to use SMTP protocol any more and they are pushing people to use mail protocol with specific configuration. can I share with you a link privately to tell me your idea about the new policy that my hosting company using and if that technically acceptable or not?

i could only to verify Gmail SMTP protocol with port 25 on gmail server but still my website getting the same error. My hosting company says that all configuration is correct and the problem is on website script and asked me the website admin login details to see what is the problem. What do you think Mr. Basara? I'm afraid that the website script has a problem when am saving the SMTP login details on (Admin > Settings > mail) section. what is your suggestion pleas?

yes, am trying to do some changes on host server and ports.

SMTP Host: ssl://smtp.gmail.com

SMTP Username: www.imkotekstil.com.tr@gmail.com

SMTP Password: *************

SMTP Port: 25

SMTP Timeout: 5

Alert Mail: ON
Additional Alert E-Mails: empty


on Goggle account as in the screenshot but not working

when am saving the SMTP password on website admin panel then back to write it and save it again i realize that it is saving again and again. how to be sure if the password been saved correctly on the STMP form??? the SMTP form on website admin panel has a problem saving the information.

how to check that and to be sure please???

You use the wrong SMTP port. Please follow the mail provider instructions. It is not AbanteCart related
