General Support / Need to remove gradient over banners

Greetings - I have been successful in changing the main banner block to take my 728px x 92px banners nicely (thanks Gordon) - - the only thing I cannot find out is where to remove the grey gradient at the top of the banners - see screenshot or URL www.VishwaGifts.com  -  thanks in advance.

Greetings,

using AbanteCart 1.1.8 -- template: HTML5 -- URL http://www.omgrown.org/AbanteCart/  --  using block:  Banner Block (main page banner slider)

I have created some banners that I want to use and disabled the banners that are default in the banner block (using HTML5 template).  The banners work just fine except for one thing - I need them justified center and not left.  Looked all over to find setting but not able to get the right one - can someone assist please? 

Also want to hide the three little squares appearing on banner that indicate how many banners are in queue.

Greetings - this morning my site has no menu - it was okay yesterday but now there is only Home showing none of the categories - see image. 

Log file shows:

2014-04-07 11:02:44 - warning:  AbanteCart core v.1.1.8 Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in <b>/home/mahamaya/public_html/storefront/controller/blocks/category.php</b> on line <b>176</b>

Need to fix ASAP, putting in maintenance mode in the meantime so nobody access the site - can somebody please assist?

General Support / Orders made, completed but transactions are 0

Good Day All,

I have orders placed and paid for - in the customer dashboard and also in the admin panel the customer shows as having ordered BUT the transactions show zero

Can anyone enlighten me as to what's wrong?

General Support / Anyone using Mail Chimp API for newsletter lists?

Greetings,

Have installed the Mail Chimp API but it will not sync customers who are listed as "yes" for newsletter - using sync does not make any difference on my Mail Chimp list.  List names are coordinated, double and triple checked the api number. 

Any advice?

When putting up downloads the number of downloads allowed is fine and works great.  BUT no matter what I've tried the Expire Date (the length of time the download is available) is not configured. 

Initially the field is blank and when adding a number, say 4 so the download can be available for 4 days, then saving the field changes to  0000-00-00 00:00:00 - there is NO countdown and no effect on the download availability date -  the year 2034

Example:
Date Added: 14/03/2014
Expire Date: 09/03/2034 01:02

This happens when putting in a variable for length of time desired or not.  I add 3 screenshots showing the initial field, the filled in field and the resulting field after "save". 

This is a standard feature for many years of any cart that I've used and it is not working. 

I have brought this up before to no avail but we are now beginning to distribute more and more downloads and this in one of the issues with AC that I (maybe others as well) need to have addressed.

Can't find where to change the settings for size of the banner - they are coming out far larger than the original - any help on this?  The original banner image is 728 width and they are showing up at over 1150 -- would really appreciate some guidance on this one.

Greetings - I'm filling out the "expire days" field for a download with the number 4 - after saving it shows "0000-00-00 00:00:00"  -  how do I set this to 4 days please.  Could not find answer in forum nor in documentation.

General Support / SOLVED: logo has white border after upgrade

Well, I just don't remember the fix for this and can't find a post on the board so I'll ask this. 

See screenshot to notice a white border around the logo image - this happened after upgrading today - truthfully, had this issue when first did my test site but can't find the solution used to correct it - can anyone assist with this please?

MY MISTAKE  -  SORRY FOR THE HASSLE

Please advise how to restore the backup taken when upgrading - cannot sell anything now --

using extension "price based shipping" - this upgrade worked fine on my test site but some issues here - please help

Greetings - I'll explain this as it is an unusual situation.  I currently have about 9 products that we are basically the middle man on. 

(1) They are all individually created within about 2 months
(2) Don't know shipping costs until completed and depending on where they ship to
(3) We end up dealing with the money aspect between customer and artist and always need to ask for the unknown shipping costs a couple months after the purchase

This is certainly not a good way to do business, I know, but that's what it is right now. 

I'd like to put these up with a link to a contact form (which I have in place) and NOT allow the customer to put this item in the cart -- possible? 

Hope my question is clear, if not I'll be happy to clarify further.

General Support / Changes to menu in order to add new main category

Greetings - I need to add a new main category to the menu but don't really know how to change the menu to accommodate it as the whole row is full -- I can change font size a little, reduce padding will also help.  I attach a screenshot of the current menu.  Would appreciate some assistance with this and as usual thanks very much.

General Support / Act on behalf of customer not working

Greetings,

When I go to Admin > Customers > and choose a customer then click the "act on behalf of" I get to the customer account interface but when clicking on any of the options I get automatically logged out and returned to a login page.  This is new, was working properly previously.  This particular site is using 1.1.7 as I'm waiting a bit before updating.  This should not have anything to do with the update as it was working before.

Greetings,

I was hoping that this issue would be fixed in 1.1.8 - when putting a digital product and a tangible product in the cart and checking out the total is charged shipping on both items. 

I am using the Price Based Shipping extension Version: 1.0.0

Any suggestions?
