I took a quick look at the PayPal information on this issue.   Is there code I need to write to accomplish this?  I'm not particularly fond of needing to do that.   Is there an AbanteCart add on that will do this for me?

I will be listing a new product for pre-order.  I need 25 orders before I can fulfill orders.  So, I would like to accept orders, take the customers payment info but delay processing the payment until the 25 orders have been met.

w4mmp -  details of your site would facilitate providing better/faster help.

What is your AbanteCart Version?  what shippers are you using,  all of them if more than one?

The most current version (AbanteCart V1.2.15).  Only one shipping option is available: usps_integration (Why2).

Have you tried making an order within your system?  Did you experience the same issue?
Yes, and no I do not experience the issue.

Are there any errors reported in your Admin > System >Logs > error logs?  If so please post the error(s) that is related to this issue.

Since you are indicating it is ONE customer in particular,  it may be more difficult to determine.

If they are already a customer,  you can use the act on behalf to assist them with an order while trying to solve the issue.

One particular customer is experiencing issues with AbanteCart providing shipping options.  I have included the text of our email exchange.  I don't have a clue what might be wrong.

I made a new account. Same problem.

Then I thought to try ordering without registering. I opened a Chrome “incognito window” so that no previously set cookies would be involved. After selected the product and viewed Cart. This time I was able to see shipping options! I selected an option and the cost got added; everything seemed fine. But I found that ordering without registering is not possible – the Continue button takes me to the Account Login page, and the “Register Account” radio button cannot be deselected. So at this point, since I already had the account I had just made, I used the right side of the Account Login page to log in.


No dice – immediately after logging in, I was taken to a Delivery Information page, but the shipping option I had just selected was gone. There was no shipping amount and the subtotal was equal to the total. Of course, clicking Continue gave the same “Error: Shipping method required!”

thanks for the reply.   However I was wondering if the rating can be perhaps displayed under the product without the need to mouse over the photo.

I would like have some type of indication of reviews for products that display on the category page.   www dot multus-sdr dot com .   Click on the Station Equipment.  It would be nice if an average star rating was displayed somewhere near each product.

Is that possible?  If so, how is it configured?

And thank you very much for taking a look.  I have since moved everything to proper location.  So the website is www dot multus-sdr dot com (no abantecart).   Yes, I figured it is probably a permissions issue, but the logs just are not very illuminating.  If need be I can give you admin access to the site.  Please let me know.

I am very new to AbanteCart.   I am in the process of moving from a previous shopping cart to AbanteCart.  Let me say first, the installation and configuration are the best!  I am so glad I have decided to use AbanteCart.   
OK,  I have set configured and set up my products.   What is not working correctly is new user creation.  When the Continue button is clicked on under "I am a new user" nothing happens.   I have checked the logs via the administration interface and nothing is reported. 
I must note is that the AbanteCart installation is NOT under the root.   I have set it up so that the current shopping cart is not disabled until I have AbanteCart properly configured and is working properly.
The website is www  dot multus-sdr dot com /abantecart .  Could this lead to the issue I am experiencing?
