« on: September 03, 2013, 01:24:34 AM »I'm still setting up my first AbanteCart store using ver. 1.1.6 that I downloaded a couple of weeks ago.
In early testing I used one of my email addresses to register for the Newsletter. I tried to do a test order using my same email address by logging in as a Returning Customer, but the program won't let me. It said: "Error: No match for E-Mail Address and/or Password".
So I tried to register again and it says "Error: E-Mail Address is already registered!"
So, I clicked "Forgot your password?" and entered my email address. The program sent me a new password. I tried to log in again as a Returning Customer using the password that the program just sent me, and I got this error: "Error: No match for E-Mail Address and/or Password." I tried again and double checked that I had the new password correct.
What might be wrong?
Hello. This is because by default in AbanteCart 1.1.6 You should enter Login name when create new account. Use it instead of email.
Also to change text "Error: No match for E-Mail Address and/or Password" go to admin and use global search to find it in language definitions.
