Clear your cache. What version of AbanteCart are you using? This is not expected behavior, and I cannot replicate it in version 1.4.4.

Match is on SKU, Model or Name, based on whether or not you've checked the corresponding checkbox during the import.

In addition, in the log I see
Skip PDF resource (already assigned): 1f0aeeb9-01ab-43e1-9b66-81bfe527cd39.pdf for product ID 77099which means it automatically skips PDF imports, but lots and lots of
2026-10-06 16:49:42 - Map image resource : 39959fb4-26af-4692-9097-88d767b6d28c.jpg 463272 and that number on the end is always incrementing.

Any estimate of when that is? This is a pretty serious drawback to using the multi-store functionality.

Since my web server disk usage increases signficiantly running an import that only updates existing products, I am concerned it is happening. Are you saying it does not? That would definitely be preferred.

I just see this as an option under Settings, to enable individually the "search in descriptions" and "search in model numbers" check-boxes by default.

Essentially, Settings to do this without having to edit the template files as described in this thread.

However, couldn't the import process skip those or throw a warning for a missing name instead? If I supply update in the action column, it could skip the name field entirely.

What version of AbanteCart? Can you show a screenshot? This is not behavior I am familiar with.

Update: data type is already included. Store is not, and that would be helpful too.
