the ones depicted in the screengrab have no options.
other items do have options (size etc)
BUT the add to cart on the gallery views does not add them whether they have options or not, I have to go to the individual item to add it to the cart

Brand new 1.4.0 install
On the item list screen the Add to Cart doesn't add to the cart, it simply opens the individual item page where I can then add it to the cart.

New install of 1.4.0 using Novator template.
When I view an item on the PC I can see the pic and all the information and purchase choices and can add the item to my cart, all good.
On the iPad, the same.
On my phone, when I view an item the page opens up but all I can see is the scrolling pictures of the item. There is no information, no text, no way to add it to the cart.

Installation and Configuration / Can't delete default Brands in 1.4.0. Admin

New 1.4.0 install
I can't delete the inbuilt brands. I can add and delete my own Brands but when I press the delete icon for the default brands, the delete box opens but when I press 'delete' nothing happens.
Error log is completely empty.
Is this a fault or is there another way to delete the default brands?

Templates / Novator Block Codes

I'm trying to edit some of the Novator Blocks but it seems whenever I try changing some of the text and save, the layout of the block on the website is mucked up.
How can I reload the original block codes, do I have to uninstall Novator and then reinstall it again, if so where do you get Novator from as it doesn't seem to be in the extension market place?

Brand new 1.4.0 install
In the admin, I can't toggle any of the ON/OFF switches. The blue ON switch is dulled down(almost like being greyed out) and when I try to click it the mouse pointer turns into a No Entry sign so I can't turn them on or off.

I'm having loads of issues upgrading.
I tried upgrading 1.2.16 to 1.30. It ran and then I couldn't access website or admin, just got a blank page. As I couldn't access admin, I couldn't do a restore from the backup.
After hours of trying I decided to just delete the site, load 1.4.0 and then import my php database backup. It was too large to upload so I've spent all day loading individual tables.
Lots of issues now but here are two. My layouts have suddenly disappeared. All page templates appear in the screen grab. The Novator template appears to be missing though it is referenced in my php layouts table
I can't turn blocks on and off, the blue ON switch is kind of greyed and when I mouseover it a red NO ENTRY sign pops up.
I may have overwritten some new 1.4.0 tables when importing my old website tables
what is the best way to get my site working again, preferably with 1.4.0 or should just delete everything and load a 1.2.16 site which worked fine?
