The current site map generated by the template is in .php
Is is possible to generate a site map in html. Bing and Google no longer recognize site maps done in php.
I can generate one easily, but I'm thinking about those that don't know how to do it.

Good point Gordon,
Do you know where I can see more details about Google requirements?
We can not include any more new dev into 1.2.2, but we will consider in the future releases.

I don't know where the requirements are, I'll find them for you though.
I just know I submitted our site map link when I was in webmaster tools listing my site and it said it was unacceptable, it must be in html.
I'll get more detail and follow up on this.

Pavel,
All google requires is a page done in xml like this one
https://naturalhandcraftedsoaps.com/secure/sitemap.xml
I generated this one using a free service, but it'll only index 500 pages, more than that you need to install their paid version on your server or use their web based one. The free service is http://xml-sitemaps.com
