Payment Modules / AbanteCart PayFast extension

hi all, newbie here, i installed abantecart, i went through abantecart extensions, bought the Payfast payment extension. Registered on Payfast - received my merchant id and key. now when i go through to checkout, it gives me the "error:Payment method required" error, doesnt display the customer the payment option or the payfast logo even though i added the image. am i doing something wrong?
