First of all check spam folder in yahoo mail.
Then check for mail related errors or warning the AbanteCart error log and server error log
For Your Info: Yahoo has recently made a change in their DMARC policy that may impact both your incoming and outgoing mail.
And last one try to use different mail server (Outgoing Mail Server) in Admin-System-Settings-Mail Tab http://docs.abantecart.com/pages/settings/mail.html

Hello.
This is related to your domain (subdomain) configuration in Cpanel (domain admin panel). No matter where installed AbanteCart files. You need to configure your domain or subdomain to resolve website1/public_html/website2 path.
try to create subdomain like shop.website1.com and assign it to the website1/public_html/website2 path
OR configure website1.com domain to resolve website1/public_html/website2 path
Note: After domain path changes you need to change Store URL setting in AbanteCart Admin-System-Settings-Details Tab

I switched the backend to english and all works fine now.
The resource library issue I experienced is due to the italian language pack not working properly
for the backend.
I posted this information because could be helpful for somebody trying to set up a shop in Italian.

What do you mean not working? is it not loaded or some error occur?
Can You please try to run "Load missing (not translated) language data"? Go to Admin-System-Localization-Languages click edit Italian then select Source Language English to copy from and click Load button.

php.ini file change specific PHP settings on your server.
If some of them are not allowed on your servers this cause issue.
Try to test system without php.ini or leave php.ini and disable some of the settings manually
to disable something in php.ini type ; before each line
