After test again and again, I fund:

If checkout as registered customer, the address format does not change as set in Localization-Countries.

If checkout as guest, the address in confirmation e-mail is just in the correct format.

Any idea about this?

Any suggestions?  Tried many times, the address format doesn't change, the same as no format settings.

Is there something need to be done in C_panel? (permission?), please help if you know any information of this issue.

New fresh installation of V1.1.9, the default US address format is already there, I added Canada address format as the same:

{firstname} {lastname}
{company}
{address_1}
{address_2}
{city}, {zone} {postcode}
{country}

But in the address on order confirmation e-mails from both country, zone is moved to the next line, how to fix this ? 

First Name  Last Name
company
address_1
address_2
city  postcode
zone
country


I searched here and found another post mentioned this, but didn't see a solution. I cleared cache, still doesn't work. It worked for me when I use V1.1.5.

Hi guys,

I am having the same problems as the user mentioned above and even with or without the blocks being used in the layout I get the same error of "Can't delete because this block is in use. Please visit Layout section."

How was this error resolved?  I am using a new install of 1.1.9 (September 2014)

You need to check sql update files for tax_rate table
If you run that script the error will go away.

Store has been working fine for long time with version 1.1.5, starting from Sep.24, both customer and I can not receive e-mail notification, after searching here, I contacted HostPaPa,  and was told php version was upgraded recently, and suggested upgrade my AbanteCart.

I upgraded from 1.1.5 to 1.1.6,.... until the latest 1.1.9, every time it shows successful. So I even didn't check it was working or not. After all upgrade done, I found I can not open my web store, I got " 500 Internal Server Error"

Login to control Panel, when I click the following tabs, got " 500 Internal Server Error"

Thanks for your reply.  I updated to the newest version(1.1.4), still can not remove those 2 blocks or add new block.  Now I have to make the block blank to show nothing on the page.

I created a new html block and added to checkout page, below the cart content block.  After click "save", I see this block doesn't show on storefront cart page.  I added again the same html blcok below the fist one by clicking "+" button, and click "save", then I see something wrong, on storfront cart page, I see two blocks there, but on conrtol panel Layout section, it shows "None".

Now I can not change it, even I choose " None", or choose any other block, on storefront cart page the 2 blocks are still there.

I try to turn this block off on "Block" section, it says:
"Can't change status because this block is not in use. Please visit Layout section. "

I try to delete this block, it says
"Can't delete because this block is in use. Please visit Layout section. "

Can any one help with this?            ( Version 1.1.2 )

But my question is for the receipt received through e-mail. I mean, when customer place an order, both customer and I will receive a notice with order detail, include order ID, date, address etc. and a form with 5 columns:
|Product | Model | Price | Quantity | Total |

The "product" column is small, and the "Model" column is very wide. I don't need "Model" column, but need a wide column for "Product" to show product name and options.

Can you please again let me know how to do with this ?

Yes, I use 1.1.2 and have the same problem with IE9, for any html block.

My way to solve this problem:  System--Setting--Appearance--
Product List Width  &  Product List Height:   temporarily change to the size of the picture you're going to upload.

By doing this, when you edit the block and insert picture, you may still see a thumbnail. Choose Cancel and insert picture again, now you can find your picture in resource liberary, choose the picture and done!

Don't forget to change back Product List Width  &  Product List Height.

Hope this problem can be really resolved in a future version.
