I also don't understand what you mean when you say "well know server misconfig with mod_security"
From the link you gave, I added this to my htaccess file, but it didn't solve my problem

P.S.: I upgraded to 1.2.8 then immediately to 1.2.9 from 1.2.7.

Support / Media Manager not working in AbanteCart 1.2.9

After upgrading to AbanteCart 1.2.9 my Media Manager is not working for RaaniLakshmiBai.com. I have disabled all extensions.
Clicking on Images/PDFs takes me to RaaniLakshmiBai.com/# (my own website).
What do I do now?
