There ae a couple of missing Region\State entries in the UK Region\State dropdown list.

Can someone tell me which fields I need to edit to add them to the database., without breaking it 

Happy to pm them to the dev team for inclusion in the source, just let me know.

Paypal Express is showing an error related to the headers.
Says incorrect api details, but these have been verified by paypal.
Is there a problem with the extension?
Any fixes or suggestions welcome.

I have been asked a question about Abantecart and I can't figure out if it can be done.

I have a friend who runs a small car renovation workshop. Part of his business is selling old and rare motor parts for old and vintage cars.
He has no problems selling the parts but wants to be able to offer a parts and labour solution for small repairs.
He wants the customer to place an initial order and for him to be able to update the order with any parts needed for the job and for the labour charges (which aren't known in advance).
The cusomer then completes the order and pays for the job when the work is done.
At the moment he is having to adjust his parts stock from his current shopping cart and invoice the job seperately via his accounting package.

Anyone know how to do this in Abantecart

Hi,
I am using ver 1.2.8

Trying to set up the UPS module but having problems with the Origin State/Province Field. 
There is no 2 digit code for the provinces (Counties) in the UK. 
Have any other UK users made this module work, and if so how?
Any help appreciated.

Hi All

I am using v1.2.8

I have a few products that have drivers with them for different Operating Systems. 

Is it possible to have these OS Specific files shown on the product page. For example a Graphics Card may have drivers for Win XP, Win Vista, Win 7 and Win 10.

In an ideal world to have them selectable from the product page and added to the cart would be perfect

Hi All - Happy New Year,
I am using v1.2.8

I am trying to get the Welcome Message to show on the site. 

I have changed the Welcome Message in System\Settings\Store_Details\ And it displays there exactly as I want it when I select visual.

But is does not display on the home page. 

When I do a Global Search in Admin for 'Welcome' the text I entered in the Welcome Message Box is returned in  config_description_9.

How do I fix this?  I have cleared the cach in both the browser and the admin panel.

I have searched the forums but can't find a solution.  Please help

I have, with the help of the forum, got multistore working well.  Now I want to change some of the colours in the template to differeniate the stores.

Can someone please tell me where the css for each store is stored, can't seen to find them anywhere

I am using v1.2.8

Is it possible to install an extension more than once. 

The parcelForce48 extension works really well and I have set it to a UK location and it only shows for addresses in those locations.

What I would like to do is install the same extension again and configure it for a location of SE Asia.  The international prices for Parcelforce Zone 11 (SE Asia) are very different than Zone 3 (UK).

Looking for ideas to see if this can be done and if so how to do it

I'm using v1.2.8

I want to change the logo URLso that it reloads\loads the site home page. 

Currently thr store is in a folder of public_html (public_hml\store).  Clicking on the logo reloads the store homepage I need the site homepage (public_html\index)

Is there a way to change this within the admin pages?

I'm using v1.2.8
I have got Multistore working and I appreciate all the help from the forum.

I am trying to find out a little more about the nuts and bolts of how multistore works and if i can get it to do something I thought would be easy but can't see how to do it.

For those who are following the saga I have two domains on the same host, one is an add-on.  By redirecting the document root from the add-on domain to my primary domain abantecart folder, multistore now works and I have all the benefits of running multistore.  The downside is that any other content that may have been on the add-on site is now unavailable (Example a photogallery running from myaddondomain/photos/).

So the question:-
Can I redirect from a folder (example storeNo2) instead of the root, on the add-on site to my abantecart, and if so how do I do it. 

If I can do this it would leave the rest of the site content available to visitors who would visit the site for its content not just to visit the store.

The reason:-
I have another domain, that is content rich, that would benefit from having access to some of the items held in the abantecart store, but not at the expense of losing the sites content.

Just spent 2 hours on live chat to the hosting provider who tell me abantecart cannot run multistore.  Hoping for more joy here and I am sure I am not the only one who would like to be able to do this.

Is there a way to add products to another store as a batch.

I don't mind amending items one by one but if I could select a few at a time and then add the store in one go it would be useful.

I am using v1.2.8

I have followed the instructions to the best of my ability to set up a second store.
My primary store is secondsystems.co.uk and this is now working correctly.
My second store is to be on paragtim.co.uk

In my cpanel
I have added paragtim.co.uk as a add-on domain and prior to trying to set up the second store this domain resolved correctly as displayed content in the domain without any problems.  I then changed the document root to point at the store path on the primary domain.  Please see the attached file.

In my Abantecart admin panel
I set up the new store and set the store url to http://www.paragtim.co.uk/.

End result
When I visit http://www.paragtim.co.uk/ an Abantecart store loads as you would expect, but, it is a direct clone of https://www.secondsystems.co.uk/abantecart/. 

None of the changes made in the Abantecart Control Panel for the new store http://www.paragtim.co.uk/ (Store Name, Title or Welcome Message) are being displayed on the  http://www.paragtim.co.uk/ pages.

If I try to edit any of the content in the Abantecart control panel using paragtim store it directly over rights the content in the primary (default) store as well as the paragtim store.

Is there any chance someone could point me in the right direction to solve these problems.

In desparate need of help.

I am using v1.2.8

I was looking to set up a multi store and some how have managed to lose the graphics on the storefront of the primary site (secondsystems.co.uk/abantecart/).

The new storefront  (paragtim.co.uk) is a direct replica of the primary site and retains all the graphics that should be showing on the primary.

All the product and manufacturers graphics on the  (secondsystems.co.uk/abantecart/) storefront have gone but still remain on the product pages.  Other than this the site still works.

Can someone point me in the right irection to resolve this problem.

UPDATE:
If I change the number of items to display from 4 to 8 the graphics come back.  Really confused now

I am using v1.2.8

I have the COD extension installed and wish to change the text that appears on the checkout page to read Cash On Collection.

I have followed the tree \system\localisation\Language Definitions\default_cod_default_cod and amended the Cash on Delivery to cash on Collection but the change is not showing on the checkout page.

Can someone tell me where else I might need to change this
