Can it be done with our without an extension?
Basically this is a configurable product that shows a different set of options depending on a selection already made. Quantity pricing might change as well depending on selection. Total price is updated on product page. No need to put into cart. See this example please. Don't need a custom design feature, just logo upload.

How can I manually sort my category's product listings and make it default for display in the store front? I need to be able to present my products in a logical manner and it has nothing to do with ether Newest or A-Z.

I want to be able to have products displayed in a specific order. Can I set this in the admin? I see each product has a sort order field, but that requires editing each product, one at a time. Will this overwrite the sort order switch on the store front? Currently it always defaults to Date Old>New.

The categories listing has a sort order column. It would be great to have that on the product listing as well.

How can I put several products on sale? Say I want to put everything on sale or just certain products that I select. Any way of creating sales other than editing every single product?

What is the status on an admin solution for this as it was posted some time ago? Can I manually copy some folders or is it not possible? Please point me the right direction for modifying the default template so my changes get retained when Abantecart is updated. It think for now I only need to make CSS changes. Are there any override directories where I can upload the changed CSS?

I did see the first post here for the option to use Developer Tools. Seems complicated just to make a copy of the default template. Is there another way? Or should I dig in and install Developer Tools?

Or just make the CSS changes on the original template and keep a copy for use after next upgrade?

Is there a way to shorten the checkout process? I am not talking PayPal Express, regular store checkout with credit card.

There are simply too many steps to get the order done. Then the last step where we see all info complete, it asks for another confirm order. This will result in many lost orders. You can expect to loose some customers on every step along the way unfortunately.

I love what I see so far with AbanteCart but the long checkout is really not good. I hope I just missed a setting.

I switched on Use SEO URL's and .htaccess is correct.

Cleared all cache as well. Some products show now SEO friendly url' but others still show the product/product&path=43_45&product_id=95 kind. How do I get them all to display SEO url's without editing every single product? I want it to just use suggested url from title.

The migration tool from 1.2.7 worked great. Now looking at the imported data I've noticed that customers were imported but a generic login name has been generated, like gen_d9c53c1a398dba5ec99e630e6c3e1753. The password was not imported ether and is showing blank in the dashboard customer info. Can this info be imported correctly? BTW, zen cart used the email address as the login name.   

Can I have one option depend on the selection of the first option?

Let's say I select size 6, I might offer it only in blue and red. But If I select size 8 I might have all colors available. Can this be done? This is important for inventory reasons too. Say I sell out of size 6 in red but still want to sell size 6 in blue.

I am trying to upgrade automatically but it fails. If I need to do it manually, how? Or can it be resolved so it runs automatically? I've already replaced the backup.php as suggested elsewhere.

AbanteCart Version 1.2.1 with default template.

When browser in full screen, the cart page does not display the Zip code field big enough. When I make the window smaller so the main menu switches to drop down mode, all is fine Why? And how can this be resolved? See picture.

I am trying to setup UPS and USPS shipping modules. I believe I've sent Localization and store address correctly and configured UPS the way it is described in the help. But I do not get quotes at shopping cart page and get the following error during checkout as guest:

Authorization failure. Perhaps username and/or password is incorrect.

What is still wrong?

I have a product available in say red, green, blue. When the customer selects the color and the image be automatically swapped to the correct color? Can this be done? I can't find an option for it. This would have many uses where one wants to show the actual product variant.

How can I add additional category content below the category listing? Above category is clear, it is the description section when editing the category itself. How about adding more category specific text below?

I have tried a custom content block (html) and added it to the layout, but did not work out. Any help is appreciated.
