Hello.
Yes, it is possible to increase that value, but it is not related to AbanteCart. Instead, it depends on the hosting service provider or server configuration.

I went to the layout page and clicked on every single power button icon and everyone went light as if to indicated disabled.  Then I hit the save icon near the top of the page.  Then I went to look at the page and not a single thing was removed.

Hello. Change to 755. Did you set 555 to folder only or all files? Files should be 644

Now the page builder works after the upgrade that I thought I had done, but, I get an error code /public_html/vendor directory and its content needs to be set to read and execute only!
I changed the main folder and the sub folders to read and execute but still get the error message. Do I have to also change the folders under the sub folders as well? I have them set as 0755.
Hello. The vendor warning you're seeing is likely due to a System Check you have enabled.  Try setting the permissions of the vendor folder to 555.

To access a category using the /eShops handle, follow these steps:

1. Add "eShops" to the category SEO key (use "eshops" if your server does not support capital letters).
2. Configure the .htaccess file in the root of your AbanteCart store with the next content.
3. Enable SEO URLs in the AbanteCart admin.

If SEO URLs are still not working, contact your hosting support for assistance with mod_rewrite or .htaccess rules.

Please double-check that SEO URLs are disabled in the admin settings and clear the AbanteCart cache. The category links in the menu are SEO-based and seem to be malfunctioning.
