Hi

On my Dev site I have 2 bottom banners enabled and 1 disabled. I migrated my SQL database from my Dev site to Live and it still sows all 3 banners on the Live site.

I checked Admin and it shows 2 banners are ON and 1 is OFF, but all 3 still show up on the storefront.

I cleared the cache on the Abantecart admin GUI and my internet explorer but no change.

Any ideas? Did I forget to migrate a specific file?

General Support / Missing Analytics & Insights from Admin menu

Hi

In the Abantecart Demo version http://demo.abantecart.com/?s=demo_admin (1.2.8) you have Analytics & Insights under Reports in the admin menu. I have version 1.2.8 and I do NOT have this option under Reports.

I installed the NeoWize extension but as I do not have Anyalytics & Insights, I cannot see NeoWize.

Please can someone tell me why I cannot see this option? I definitely have version 1.2.8.

General Support / How can I set up an automated email response?

Hi All,

When a customer signs up to the newsletter, they do not receive a confirmation email. Is it possible to send an automated response to anyone who signs up to emails? Something like this "thank you for registering with abc.com. We will send you updates when they are available".

Hi All,

When you add an item to your cart, it automatically takes you to your shopping cart. Is there a way just to keep shopping (stay on the current product page) without going to your cart?

General Support / What is the 'X' for next to each item in the cart?

Hi All,

When you add an item to your cart, you can see the cart total just under the logo. If I click on that total I can see the items in my cart and a 'X' next to each item (Please see the attached image). What is this X for? I thought it was to delete an item, but it has no function at the moment.

Hi All

My brands list at the bottom of the page does not show any logos. I went into brands in admin panel and can see the image next to Pantene. I removed the image and added it again, but I still cannot see it on storefront. My image folder permissions are correct. Any ideas?

Hi All,

I want to set up a test site using data from my LIVE site. Am I missing anything in these steps?

1. I set up my test domain as test.mydomain.com
2. I created a new DB called testDB
3. I uploaded Abantecart 1.2.7 to test.mydomain.com and installed without dummy data
4. I exported my Abantecart LIVE website SQL database
5. I imported the LIVE SQL database to testDB
6. I changed the SALT and Encryption key on the test site so that the keys are the same as the LIVE site
7. I copied the following folders from my LIVE site to test.mydomain.com

   Resources/image
   storefront/view/default/image
   image/thumbnails
   storefront/view/default/stylesheet/style.css

Have I missed anything or done anything wrong? The test.mydomain.com site is working, but none of my products or menus appear.

Any help would be appreciated.

General Support / How can I add a new Text Area field to Products?

Hi All,

I want to add a new field to the Products page (for every product) called Supplier. How can I do this? I do not want it as an Option because I need to add the Supplier name to every product. This field must not appear on my store front.

Any help would be appreciated!

General Support / Issues with manual upgrade from 1.2.6 to 1.2.7

Hi

I had issues trying to upgrade from 1.2.6 to 1.2.7 via the admin page. So I decided to backup my fles and database, erase my site and install 1.2.7 from scratch.

1.2.7 is now installed
I imported my SQL database
I copied my images folder back to my installation
I copied my system/config file over the installed version
I ensured the CHMOD settings are correct

I can get to the URL, but it just looks like the default installation. My products and customisations do not appear!

What have I missed??

General Support / Missing images and missaligned social icons

Hi

I have 2 issues which I would really appreciate some help with:

1. on a mobile, the Facebook icon appears lower and cut off at the top than the other icons. Is there a fix for this?

2. On a mobile, the Free Shipping, Easy Payment etc icons are all missig. Any ideas why?

I keep getting the following error when I try and upgrade from 1.2.6 to 1.2.7. Can someone help me please?

In the amysqli.php, line 106 looks like this:

throw new AException(AC_ERR_MYSQL, 'Error: ' . $result->error . '<br />' . $sql);


Shall I try and change the DB driver to SQL instead of amysqli in config.php?

General Support / Google Account Number Added - what next?

Hi

I set up my Google Analytics account. I added the GA account number to Abantecart under System->Settings->General. I understand that Google can track visitors to the site, but does AbanteCart have anything built in that allows me to see any tracking info so I don't have to log into GA?

Also, the GA tracking ID is like UA-55554545-1. So the account ID is 55554545 (this is what I entered into Abantecarte).  I hit my site a few times, then checked GA and there are no RealTime stats. Is there a delay or did I do something wrong?

In GA I enabled E-commerce and saved.

Any help would be appreciated.
