Thanks, that is what I needed. I think I have it working in spite of Googles automatically generated js being wrong.
Anyone else struggling with this, I suggest speaking to google adword technical support. They were surprisingly helpful!

I am setting up Google Ad conversion tracking, by inserting code in
/storefront/controller/pages/checkout/success.php
Firstly is that the correct place.
Secondly I want to return the total value. My guesswork has led me to the expression <? echo $order_total ?>
Am I getting close? If not, what do I need)?

I have replaced the banner manager (from 1.1.7), but the same problem persists.
I've cleared the cache. I've tried creating a new block. Are there files relating to the block properties I can look at?
The only anomoly I can find in the setup is on the banner block properties page. I selected the banner group - all fine. The box underneath shows selected banners - selected items 3. If I click Add/Edit button I get error-
Fatal error: Class 'AJson' not found in /home/figtreeb/public_html/extensions/banner_manager/admin/controller/responses/listing_grid/banner_manager.php on line 299

What does it all mean? I used to be a carpenter you know. It was a simple life.

Also thought I should point out I am using default template rather than html_5

Can you point me to the files that control the banner slider and I'll try replacing them?

I've had look at the demos and my set up appears to be the same.
I have three banner images in a group in banner manager.
In Main Page Banner Slider block properties I have selected the group.
I have enabled the block in the layout.

But instead of three images sliding across one at a time, it shows all three at the same time and is static.
I am using 1.1.6

I have installed banners with banner manager. I have added them to Main Page Banner Slider Block. I have added the block in Layout.
It just displays the images one above the other. Surely it is supposed to slide? As in a slideshow. or am I missing something?

For most of my products I have track stock disabled in the general product setting and enabled under the different options for that product. The product quantity was set to 0 originally,and each option with its quantity, so now after several sales, the products overview page lists the stock as negative quantities, though the separate options show we still have stock.
The functionality of the site is fine. i.e. it is not showing as out of stock. The only problem is the general product page showing negative stock. Have I set something up wrong? Ideally it would show the sum of the various options stock.

Any insight?

Thanks Junkyard. I looked at the language definition, but as you say that applies to all RM delivery methods. Really I need separate times for different delivery methods. So the customer can choose to pay more for a quicker delivery. Its not critical of course, but next time a developer is looking at this extension they should include this feature.

I did look there first and looking at it again two things come to mind.
One, where in that line would I put in my text string. e.g. "3-5 days" (i'm sorry my knowledge of all code is limited)
Two, that definition appears to be general to the whole royal mail extension. I need different delivery times for the different delivery methods royal mail provide.

In the six months I have been working of this I have learnt so much, but most of the time I am still in the dark. Though, I do have a functioning website, and even a few customers.

Royal Mail shipping extension has an option to display delivery times. When checked it displays alongside the check box for that shipping method in checkout the text "Estimated time". There is no form to enter data on actual time (i.e 3-5 days)

Can someone point me to the file and method to put that text in?
Ive looked at
/extensions/default_royal_mail/storefront/model/extension/default_royal_mail.php and for second class post in line 180 it is calling for 'text_eta' but there is no reference to a value for this variable

I dont know where to look next.

Ireland is the only country I know that doesnt use any type of postcode. Customers in Ireland have great trouble entering delivery addresses as with out a postcode they cant continue.
Can the postcode be removed as a required field for just this country?

I still cant get the new text accepted by editing the xml. Cleared all the caches and browser cache and no changes.
But solved the problem using the global search. I hadnt realised what a powerful tool it was for editing attributes. Nice job.
