The Spanish translation that came with the original installation contains many errors. If I edit the relevant XML files, the new translations do not display. I see from the wiki on architecture overview that Abantecart loads the language files to the database and cache. How can I reload or reset this, to force it to use the new translations

Thanks for the Ideas. Just cloning the whole store Is a nice simple solution. The only problems I see are firstly stock control, and secondly maintenance and updating product information. Both could be easily solved, by each site accessing the same  data, but its beyond my ability to set that up. And If I have to pay someone to edit code then I may as well get it done properly. I need a solution to this pronto, so I'll let you know how it goes.

I am still working on this issue. Trying to get a proper programmer to to help find and edit the appropriate files.

I feel sure someone must have done this before. Can anyone out there give me any tips or advice on what I am trying to do.

Is there an extension that will allow this? If not which files would I have to edit?

I have set up discounts for wholesale customer group. But the discounted price only shows on the shopping cart total page. How can I get all products to display the discounted price when the customer is logged in as a wholesale customer. ie, so they can see the price they will pay?

I am using 1.1.6, default template.

Did the upgrade to 1.1.6. Resolved this problem and everything else seems to be running perfectly. Very nice job guys, thanks for all your hard work. You all deserve a holiday in the sun!

I have the same issue with buttons not displaying correctly since loading updated paypal extension. I  posted at http://forum.abantecart.com/index.php/topic,872.msg3268.html#msg3268 but had no response.
I tried putting the .tpl in html5 folder as above but no difference.
And in all the messing around paypal wont take credit cards again!

The confirm order and back buttons on the checkout confirmation page are not displaying correctly. See attachment.  And I cant work out why. Any ideas what the problem is?

I have it sort of solved.
Paypal Standard
In sandbox mode(Test) pay with credit card option doesnt show.
In live mode it does.
Having a test mode where you cant test half the features seems a bit pointless. But at least it seems to work Live.

I 'rested' it overnight and it seems to go through now ok.

My next problem.
Paypal doesn't give an option to pay with a credit card. I spoke to them and they say I need to include an API signature in my end. Paypal standard extension doesn't have this facility. Paypal Pro does though. I only have a Standard business account with them. I tried it anyway. It comes up with a security error. Presumably because it wants to take credit card details on my site, and I'm not geared up for that.

Any ideas? I dont know which way to turn

Uploaded the new file to server. Uninstalled and reinstalled extension and problem still the same

I have the same problem as eliastel, and I speak spanish. The problem is that after upgrading from 1.1.4 to 1.1.5 as payments are submitted to paypal it comes up with an error
"The link you have used to enter the PayPal system contains an incorrectly formatted item amount."

It was ok In 1.1.4
Any ideas?

Just an update to the problem of getting the extension installed. I upgraded to 1.1.5 and it all worked as advertised. Thank you very much for all your help.
