Hi

I have uploaded an icon for one of the extension -- "weight based shipping" under "Storefront Icon".
However this shipping icon doesn't display at checkout shipping selection.
Please advise.

Note: I am using template_ac548. Will this template cause this issue?

Hi,

Was testing the payment of orders via paypal sandbox. One of the scenarios was of some concern. Not sure if this occurs in a non-sandbox paypal. Can't seem to find a similar post for the solution.

After clicking on "pay now", abantecart will receive the order under the order list. At this point, I am still on the paypal page which indicates that payment made. Without clicking on the "return ..." link at the bottom of the paypal page, I closed the browser. I then reopened another window and visited the website. Performed a login, and the cart items which I already paid, is still there.

Also, after the paypal transaction is completed, is there a way to display the transaction number in the abantecart order?

Any advice is much appreciated. thanks.

I have uploaded a banner to the intro.
It does not reflect to the website though  I had cleared the cache from the admin interface.
After no idea how long, when I go to the website again. I noticed that the new banner that I had uploaded, it reflected on the website.
Is it that the system will not immediate reflect the banner after sometime? If yes, how long will it take to reflect on the website.

Does different template layout cause such issue?

I would like to know the folders and files under resources folder are cache. Can the folders and its files under resources be deleted? Will it regenerate the new folders and its files?

Recently I just bought a template (Baby Supplies Store Template) from the extension store and use this template

From the log file, it throws this error message. Please advise.

I had upgraded AbanteCart version 1.1.6 to 1.1.7 and noticed some warning messages keep appearing from error log file and need your advise.

I have installed default_ups and set the status as "ON".
I have installed default_flat_rate_shipping and set the status as "ON" and the flat rate will be applied a specified location only for example Singapore.

Hence, when a customer who is located in SG and purchase some items and checkout, the system did not display the flat rate shipping.

Why is so?
Please guide me as customer(s) who located in SG will need to pay a flat rate and others can choose the type of shipment.

I am using default_html5 template.

When the customer select an item, it display the product page and I have set the layout to display the category on the left side.
Hence, did not want the system to display the image at the high level.
Please advise how not to display the image.

I am using default_html5 template.

Enter the product's description and using some of the html feature such as bullets in the product page.
However, the description display on the storefront, it did not display bullets and just indented.
Please advise how to resolve this issue so that it will display bullets.

I have added a new attribute and its value using multiselect box in Global attributes.

In the product page, i have added this new attribute to the option tab.

I tried to select 2 designs at the time for this product and add to it the shopping cart.
The cart just display 1 design's amount instead of 2 designs' amount.

Please guide me where i have missed out the step(s) and cause such issue.

Currently, I am doing some testing and notice the following problems and your advise and guidance.

For example, Good A has qty 2 and set track stock as "YES", qty as "2" and Out of stock status as "Out of stock" in Product section.

Scenario 1
-------------
When customer A added Good A to the cart, and update the qty as "3" and the shopping cart page show red * and still allow the customer to checkout.

a) I want to have a short message for example "Not enough qty on hand," instead of *** as it is not clear to the customer, where can I add this statement.

b) It is not logical for the customer to continue to checkout unless he remove the item or update the no of qty.
Would you guide me on this portion?


Scenario 2
------------
2 customers had purchased Good A and there is no stock on hand.
From the system, Good A's qty is 0.
From the website, it did not display out of stock for Good A. It still allow people to add to cart and checkout.
Please let me know where I have set wrongly or incomplete and cause such problem.

I have created a high level category called "Test Cat" and its sub-category called "Test Sub Cat".
When I do a click on "Test Cat", it display a system default image (camera image) as attached if no image being uploaded.
Please advise to remove the default image.
Just only want to display the image on the product level.
