Configuration / Re: Website Error, Please Help Me.
« on: February 12, 2015, 08:01:21 AM »
Hello RajaSarma,

The config file at core\lib\config.php and  \system\config.php does not contain code that requires domain name. Try to check at system\cache\settings\settings and system\cache\storefront_menu\storefront_menu, I think the cache file is still using your old domain name. Also, don't forget to delete all cache at your Admin.

Security / Re: Use AbanteCart without ini Parameters
« on: February 12, 2015, 07:41:51 AM »
Hello Irwan,

I suggest you set whatever the AbanteCart's system requirement, to avoid problem on some core functionalities. Enabling and careful use of this session cookie can be used to regulate access to the web application over time. Without cookies, websites and their servers have no memory. A cookie, like a key, enables swift passage from one place to the next. Without a cookie every time you open a new web page the server where that page is stored will treat you like a completely new visitor.

Regards

Support / Re: Change Add To Cart, and View to "Out Of Stock" for OOS items.
« on: February 11, 2015, 10:17:38 AM »
Hi, just a reminder latest AbanteCart 1.2 is using a Default View, there are lots of changes made in tpl files and also updates in stylesheet. If you encountered layout problem not the same with the latest layout, check again it maybe because you are using default_html5 view and changes from default view will not be overridden. Compare files from default to whatever view you are using, especially in product pages.

General Support / Re: Menu BIG Issue
« on: February 10, 2015, 09:54:48 AM »
I tried to add a menu item in the menu, here is what it looks like in the admin.  I can't delete it.  It messed up the whole look of the site so badly that I had to deactivate the menu on my layout pages.  How can I delete?  If needed, I can go into phpmyadmin, I just need to know where to look. Please help! I am using 1.2

Can you show me your site? I think the problem is just the layout, when you add the new menu the div container goes down because the width of menu container does not fit anymore in the current layout.

Support / Re: Guest order linked to wrong customer account
« on: December 09, 2014, 11:58:36 AM »
My abantecart install has been running just fine for 7 months now, out of the blue the last 3 days I have had customers place an order and choose guest checkout upon completing guest checkout I receive a copy of the email showing their name/address however when I login to my admin control panel and look at "All orders" the customers order # has a different name attached to it, the guest orders are randomly being assigned to existing customer accounts, and the confirmation email is sent to the existing customer email not the Guest order email, see the screenshots for an example.

Customer Tony Balda checked out as a guest however the email was sent to an existing customer "Ki Yoon"

Upon further troubleshooting it appears that the website is leaving customers logged in and when a new customer searches for our page on google and then clicks the link it takes them to our site but has them logged into whomever was the last account to login

Could this be a cache issue?

May I know how many customers you have as of the moment? And what version of AbanteCart Cart you are using, also if you have server error logs it would be better so that we can investigate further.

Please send also ticket at algozone.com/tickets.php and provide us access information and the link you think that keeps the customers logged in.

Hello,

You can remove it at \storefront\view\default_html5\template\common\footer.tpl at line 39, remove this line <?php echo $text_project_label ?>

Templates / Re: HTML5 TEMPLATE

Hello,

Please check css to change styles. I suggest you use a browser debugger, like Firebug in Firefox. This will help you inspect what to modify and where to change css.

You can comment the line that displays the Home link at storefront\view\default_html5\template\blocks\category_top.tpl . Comment or remove the first <li> and its content.

Configuration / Re: Social Icons Block

We have replicated this issue, and we can say that this is a cart bug. We will surely investigate on this problem, and include the fix on our next cart update.

For the meantime, if you want to disable the existing block, just select None at Design - Layout, where you can find the block is selected.

Hi psopa,

Did you modify any of the files? Please make sure that at the beginning or at the opening of php tag, no blank lines or spaces or other characters (seen or unseen) preceding it. Some editors, when they save a file as UTF-8, stick extra characters into the file at the very beginning (the format doesn't require it, but they do it anyway). Then refuse to show you those characters when they display the file.  To see if your editor is one of these, try saving an empty file and seeing how many bytes it takes up.
