Title: New Store Issue

Not sure if it is suppose to be this way, but I would like new created stores to have its own storefront design that is not shared with the main store.  For instance, I put something specific on the front page of the site for the new store, but I want the main store's front page to not be altered. Is there a way to do this?

I've done this, and when I change the front page on it, it will change the front page on main shop site as well.

Hello.
You maybe forgot to switch the store in the admin before you set the new template to be the default for it
