Even though my c-panel was reporting the correct PHP version, the server in fact needed to be updated to 7.4.3 My host was able to do this.

Just upgraded to 1.3.2 and it now tells me that 7.4.0+ Required for AbanteCart to work properly! I'm currently running PHP 7.4.30, and the entire site and admin panel cannot be accessed. PLEASE HELP QUICKLY!

You need to set the mail up with LOCALHOST as the SMTP host and provide the username which will be the office 365 email you set up through GoDaddy. For the PORT you need to put 25.

Note: you DONT need a password

Changing to LOCALHOST solved my problem with this immediately. THANKS!!

After "upgrading" to 1.3.2 I'm no longer receiving notification emails either. After a test purchase, the customer is also not receiving confirmation. Prior to this, I've not had a single email issue.

FOR ANYONE WITHIN EARSHOT:

If you have a stable version of AbanteCart, DO NOT UPGRADE. Lately, most changes are unbearably buggy.

I was under the impression this would be fixed in the latest upgrade. I have upgraded to 1.2.16 and received an order today requiring this feature, so we can fully see the client's instructions. It's still not fixed. Thankfully the instructions show on the confirmation email, but should also appear on the order page.

That was the EXACT issue! I updated the FOXY template, and abracadabra the optional images now show perfectly! THANK YOU to you and to all for lending a hand! You guys are great!

No, no further warnings, and nothing about permissions in the Error Log. But the optional images still aren't appearing, after changing the permissions to 777.

I don't think it's a problem with the images, but rather the option itself. I took one product with three options (and corresponding images,) and deleted the original images, replacing each. No change. The product page shows the three available options, but not the correct images.

Could this be a problem with the database? Not sure what to look for.

Most of my products have options related to color or size. The images no longer appear on my product pages when an option is selected. Then today I got the following error message:

Incorrect image files permissions
Message status: warning
Date: 04/13/2020 05:50:46 PM
Number of repetitions: 0
Following files do not have write permissions. AbanteCart thumbnail images will not function properly.
