AbanteCart v2.0 / Shipping integration addons other than ShipStation

Is anybody working on a shipping addon for any service other than ShipStation? I'm using Shippo with my stores on Ebay and Amazon. It would be a great convenience if there was an addon that allowed my AbanteCart store to be recognized by Shippo.

General Support / No notification emails

I am once again receiving no notification emails from Abantecart when a new order is placed. All the notification settings I can edit appear correct, but I don't receive any notice email of receiving a new order, or the content of a new order, or any other notification. I do receive a notification from my payment processor (Stripe) that a payment has been processed, so other external  systems are able to email me. 

Is there something besides filling in the requested notification addresses that needs to be turned on?

Also, I've never managed to receive an SMS notification in any version of Abantecart. I am running 1.3.2.

Getting this error:   Error: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known (0)

I have tried this both by setting SMTP and by setting simple Mail. My target address is at

I updated to 1.3.0, but after doing so all my "Add to Cart" buttons are disabled.

No idea how to fix it.

I see it's now giving me this error:
/home/shortfor/public_html/ file is writable. It is recommended to set read and execute modes for this file to keep it secured and running properly!

Just got this when attempting to update the extension Price Based shipping:

Report this problem to AbanteCart team (do not change email subject)

I installed the Stripe upgrade to take care of the problem in 1.2.16, and my payments are working fine. However, I keep getting messages telling me the upgrade is available, three or four times a day! Is there a way to turn that off? I delete them over and over and they just keep coming back.

It's not a crisis, but it is really annoying.

If a customer sends a message through my site, it is not being forwarded to the associated email address. I receive an email notification that a customer has sent a message, but I have to log in to my dashboard in order to read the message. In 1.2.15 I received both, and I have not changed any settings.

is this a bug or is there some new setting that I have to change? I did look, and did not find anything that looked like the right setting to change.

I am receiving other emails, such as notification when an order is placed, or when an item is out of stock. The only type I am not receiving (unless I've missed something) is the messages from customers. This is particularly bad as it makes it a multistep process to reply.

After the failed upgrade that shut off payment acceptance, I have restored my 1.2.15 installation and can receive payments and orders. However, my notifications are no longer coming through as they did before. I receive a notification that an order has been placed, but not an email containing the order itself. I receive a notification that I have received an enquiry, but not the enquiry. For either of those I must log into my dashboard to see them.

I have verified that all my visible notification settings are as they were before, with everything turned on to send to my email.

What possible setting would affect the ability of the system to send some emails but not others?

Upgrade / Stripe payments no longer working since update

My Stripe payments are no longer working. I upgraded from 1.2.15 to 1.2.16, and now on my checkout page, the box for the customer to type in the name on their card is editable, but hte box for the card number is not, it is compressed flat (like the editable part has been removed, so the border collapsed.

I've tried reconnecting to Stripe, and that appears to work fine, but it doesn't fix the problem on the checkout page.

Is it possible to block orders on a state by state basis within the US? Current sales tax nexus laws are a bloody mess. I want to accept orders only from those states that have joined the Streamlined Sales Tax system and adopted a threshold well above my anticipated sales. Do I delete the unwanted zones/states under localizations - locations -countries -USA?

Recently changed and updated my SSL certificate, and now I am unable to place items into the shopping cart. The cart buttons appear to be active, but after clicking to place an item in the cart, I am taken to a page that tells me there are no items in my cart.

Something in how the SSL is set up or connected appears to be blocking the creation of cookies, effectively disabling the cart. I am at a loss for what I can configure differently.

AbanteCart v2.0 / Improved notifications desired

I'd like two modifications to the notifications that I get through Abantecart. I have looked in the marketplace but did not find any extensions which accomplish these goals.

1) When a customer places an order, I would like the notification that comes to include a listing of the items in the order, and the name and address of the buyer. As of now, it only tells me an order has been placed, and I must log into the admin panel to see what was ordered and by whom. Autogenerating an invoice and attaching it to the email would satisfy what I want. When necessary the seller could enter the Admin panel and revise the invoice, but that should be somewhat rare.

2) When a customer or potential customer sends a message through Abantecart, I get a notification that a message has been left - but again I have to log in to the Admin panel in order to see the message. I would like the notification that I get to include the message, and the name and email address of the person who left the message, and probably a date/time stamp.

It seems to me that a routine that would insert this content into the notifications shouldn't be all that difficult to add.

On another topic, color controls without designing a whole new template would be welcome.

When a customer makes an enquiry, Abantecart sends a notification to my designated email that tells me an enquiry has been made. Is there a way to set this up so that the enquiry itself goes to the email set in sendpoint, and not just a notice to log in and retrieve the enquiry? Or is there a plugin to do this? This feels like I'm being forced to take a really unnecessary step to retrieve information.

Extension Support / Stripe not showing credit card form on mobile platform

Everything is working OK on my desktop. But when I browse on my phone, when I get to the area on the payment page where I should be able to enter credit card information, the box is collapsed and you cannot enter any numbers into it. I've tried this on my LG phone using both the Chrome and Firefox browsers for Android. I am running Android 7.0

This is a significant problem as one of the attractive features of Abantecart is its adaptability to mobile use. I really need those browsing via phone to be able to pay!

Extension Support / default_stripe_ssl_off_error

Having a problem with my Abantecart installation at It's not showing the box to enter credit card info, and giving the error default_stripe_ssl_off_error. Not sure how to fix it.

I did the Abantecart update, and I've also verified Stripe is connected to it. Was working fine about a week ago before update
