If you want to have built-in features for comments/communication between the store owner and customers, it will not be easy to explain to non-programmer in just one post.

You can try third-party plugins/services for comments.

I wonder why is there a question mark on the directories? Are there correct permissions to access these directories? Directory 79 does not have a questions mark.

So what I want is for a new customer to to be automatically approved immediately after filling out the registration form at which point they will get an email telling them they are approved and then the customer clicks on a link to verify email address and activate the account. I am using version 1.2.10. My settings right now are:

Email Activation for New Customers: ON
Approve New Customers: Off

I think you misunderstood the setting. Based on what you need, Email Activation for New Customers, should be set to OFF

I do not think your post is clear. I can only guess.
If you installed the second copy of the store using a backup of the first store, it will have older domain settings.

Overwise, this will be a setting in your hosting control panel to manage there your domain suppose to point.

I do not think everyone has this extension. Can you share screenshots? Probably best if you contact developers of this extention.

Did you check if missing image is present on the server side?

Abantecart does not remove images. There must be some other process on your server that removes it.
